§ 111.25. PUBLIC HEARING AND REVIEW.

  • (A) Hearing. The Township Board shall hold a public hearing upon a request for a new license, the establishment of a new permit, transfer of an existing license to new owners, for the transfer of a new license into the township or before filing an objection to the renewal or a request for revocation of a license with the State Liquor Control Commission.
    (B) Notice. Notice of all hearings shall be provided to all property owners and residents within 1,000 feet of the proposed establishment, all LCC Class C license holders, the Chamber of Commerce and the Kochville Community Schools. The applicant shall pay the cost of the notice.
    (C) Appearance. The applicant will be required to appear at the hearing before the Township Board and make a written and/or oral presentation concerning the request.
    (D) Recommendation. The Township Board shall review and may recommend approval or disapproval of all requests to the Township Board.
